Computer Vision Engineer

The Computer Vision Engineer will design and deploy production-grade CV models for Jio's consumer-facing products including JioMart, JioTV, and emerging AR/VR experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale problems impacting millions of daily users.

• Design, develop, and deploy computer vision models for object detection, image classification, and segmentation
• Build scalable CV pipelines for real-time video analytics and image processing at scale
• Optimize deep learning models (CNN, Vision Transformers) for inference on edge devices and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate CV capabilities into consumer applications
• Conduct experiments with state-of-the-art architectures and publish research findings internally
• Monitor model performance in production and implement continuous improvement strategies

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field from premier institution
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and deep learning
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, and related CV libraries
• Experience deploying models using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure ML services
• Deep understanding of CNN architectures (ResNet, EfficientNet, YOLO, Mask R-CNN, Vision Transformers)
• Publications in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS) is a strong plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, fast-paced teams
