Principal Engineer - Supply Chain Technology

We're seeking a Principal Engineer to architect and build next-generation supply chain optimization systems that power our nationwide logistics network. You'll work on complex problems involving route optimization, warehouse automation, and real-time tracking systems at massive scale.

• Architect scalable systems for route optimization, load planning, and network design serving millions of shipments daily
• Design and implement real-time tracking, visibility, and exception management systems across the logistics network
• Build machine learning models for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and delivery time predictions
• Lead technical strategy for warehouse management systems and automation integration
• Mentor engineering teams on system design, best practices, and technology choices for supply chain applications
• Collaborate with operations and business teams to translate logistics challenges into technical solutions

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years building supply chain or logistics systems
• Expert-level programming skills in Java/Python and experience with microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of optimization algorithms, graph theory, and operations research concepts
• Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, and handling high-throughput data streams
• Knowledge of mapping technologies, GPS systems, and geospatial data processing
• Proven ability to design systems handling millions of transactions with low latency requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from premier institutions
