QA/QC Lead

The QA/QC Lead will oversee quality assurance and quality control operations across our integrated steel manufacturing plant. You will ensure adherence to stringent quality standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead a team of quality professionals. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for producing world-class steel products.

• Lead quality assurance and quality control functions across production lines including hot rolling, cold rolling, and finishing
• Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols
• Manage laboratory operations and ensure accuracy of testing equipment and methodologies
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action for quality deviations and customer complaints
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and industry-specific quality standards
• Mentor quality engineers and technicians on quality tools, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• 10+ years of experience in quality management in steel, metals, or heavy manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of steel production processes, metallurgy, and quality control techniques
• Certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent
• Experience with statistical process control, failure analysis, and quality management systems
• Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools
