Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Application Security

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Application Security to protect our payment and financial platforms. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, and implementing secure coding practices. This role is critical in ensuring the security of millions of financial transactions processed daily.

• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis of applications
• Review code for security vulnerabilities and work with developers to remediate issues
• Implement and maintain application security tools including SAST, DAST, and SCA solutions
• Design and enforce secure development lifecycle practices across engineering teams
• Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis
• Stay updated on latest security threats and implement preventive measures

• 6+ years of experience in application security or cybersecurity roles
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and threat modeling
• Experience with security testing tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or similar
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms, encryption, and PKI infrastructure
• Relevant certifications like CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or GWAPT preferred
• Experience in fintech or payment industry is a strong advantage
