Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Threat Intelligence

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Threat Intelligence to strengthen Paytm's security posture against evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for threat hunting, incident response, and building security intelligence capabilities. This role is critical in protecting millions of users and billions in transactions from sophisticated cyber attacks.

• Lead threat intelligence operations including threat hunting, analysis, and dissemination across security teams
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms
• Conduct forensic analysis and incident investigations to identify root causes and attack vectors
• Develop and implement security monitoring use cases, correlation rules, and detection algorithms
• Collaborate with SOC team to enhance threat detection capabilities and reduce false positives
• Stay updated on latest threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK framework)

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat intelligence, incident response, or SOC operations
• Strong understanding of security concepts including malware analysis, network forensics, and threat modeling
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), EDR solutions, and threat intelligence platforms
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for security automation
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure), application security, and fintech security standards
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or CEH strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
