SOC Lead

The SOC Lead will manage and oversee the 24/7 Security Operations Center, leading a team of security analysts in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats. This role demands strong leadership in incident management, threat intelligence, and security tool optimization.

• Lead and manage SOC team of 15+ analysts across multiple shifts for 24/7 security monitoring and incident response
• Develop and refine SOC processes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for threat detection and response
• Oversee security event correlation, threat hunting activities, and proactive vulnerability management initiatives
• Coordinate major incident response activities and lead post-incident reviews and forensic investigations
• Manage SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other security tools for optimal threat detection and response capabilities
• Provide executive reporting on security posture, threat landscape, and SOC performance metrics

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum 9 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 4 years in SOC operations
• Strong expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight), EDR tools, and threat intelligence platforms
• Proven experience managing security incidents, conducting forensics, and leading incident response teams
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or CEH required
• Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework, kill chain methodology, and threat hunting techniques
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
