Backend Developer - Payments Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to build and scale our core payments platform handling millions of transactions per day. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on mission-critical systems powering India's digital economy.

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services processing 100+ million transactions daily
• Build robust APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies
• Optimize system performance, latency, and reliability to achieve 99.99% uptime SLAs
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend teams to deliver seamless payment experiences
• Implement security best practices, fraud detection mechanisms, and compliance requirements
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and on-call rotations for production support

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems design
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency systems in fintech, payments, or e-commerce domains
• Proficiency in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), caching (Redis), and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related field from tier-1 institutions
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in fast-paced startup environments
