Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to build scalable, high-performance systems that power our payment infrastructure. This role involves designing distributed systems, optimizing database performance, and ensuring 99.99% uptime for mission-critical services.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services handling millions of transactions daily
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Python, or Golang with focus on performance and reliability
• Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and distributed system architectures for low-latency operations
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure service availability and quick incident resolution
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentoring junior developers

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 6 years of professional backend development experience with Java, Python, Golang, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and distributed computing principles
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Proficiency in building and deploying microservices on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), caching systems, and API gateway patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex production issues
