Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will drive data-driven decision making across product and growth teams, translating complex data into actionable business insights. This role involves building analytical frameworks, creating dashboards, and conducting deep-dive analyses to optimize user engagement and transaction metrics. You'll partner with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to shape PhonePe's strategic initiatives.

• Design and develop BI dashboards and reports using SQL, Tableau, and Python to monitor key business metrics
• Conduct advanced analytics on user behavior, transaction patterns, and product performance to identify growth opportunities
• Partner with product teams to define metrics, establish tracking frameworks, and measure feature impact
• Perform cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and A/B test analysis to drive conversion improvements
• Build predictive models and forecasting frameworks to support strategic planning and resource allocation
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership influencing product roadmap and business strategy

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or consumer internet
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
• Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools
• Hands-on experience with Python/R for statistical analysis and basic machine learning
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
• Excellent business acumen with ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex analyses to non-technical audiences
