We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Personalization and Recommendations team, working on machine learning models that drive product discovery for millions of users daily. You will build and deploy scalable recommendation systems, conduct A/B experiments, and leverage advanced analytics to improve customer engagement and conversion. This is a high-visibility role with direct business impact.

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for product recommendations, search ranking, and personalization
• Analyze large-scale user behavior data to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for improving customer experience
• Conduct A/B tests and multivariate experiments to measure impact of ML models and data-driven features
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models and integrate them into the Flipkart platform
• Build data pipelines and feature engineering frameworks to support scalable ML workflows
• Stay current with latest research in recommender systems, NLP, and deep learning, and apply innovations to business problems

• 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
• Hands-on experience building recommendation systems, ranking models, or personalization engines at scale
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, A/B testing, and experimental design
• Experience working with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-based data platforms
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into data science solutions
