About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Marketing Technology Engineer to build and scale our marketing technology infrastructure powering personalized campaigns, customer engagement, and attribution systems. You will bridge the gap between marketing, data engineering, and product teams.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop marketing technology platforms for campaign management, personalization, and customer segmentation
- Build scalable data pipelines integrating customer data from multiple sources for real-time marketing activation
- Implement marketing automation, A/B testing frameworks, and multi-touch attribution models
- Collaborate with growth marketing teams to enable data-driven decision making and campaign optimization
- Integrate third-party marketing tools (CDPs, email platforms, push notification systems) with internal systems
- Establish best practices for data governance, privacy compliance (GDPR), and marketing analytics
What Swiggy Is Looking For
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with focus on marketing technology or data platforms
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies (Python, Java, Node.js) and database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CDPs (Segment, mParticle), and analytics tools
- Understanding of marketing concepts including attribution, segmentation, and campaign orchestration
- Expertise in building real-time data pipelines using Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and implementing privacy-by-design principles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
