Principal AI Research Engineer

We are looking for a Principal AI Research Engineer to lead research and development of advanced AI/ML systems powering our autonomous driving, route optimization, and demand prediction initiatives. You will work on cutting-edge problems at the intersection of computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.

• Lead research initiatives in computer vision, deep learning, and autonomous systems for mobility applications
• Design and implement state-of-the-art ML models for object detection, path planning, and driver behavior prediction
• Publish research papers at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) and contribute to open-source AI community
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transition research prototypes into production systems
• Mentor junior researchers and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
• Stay current with latest AI research trends and evaluate applicability to mobility and transportation challenges

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML research or applied machine learning roles
• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field strongly preferred
• Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals
• Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), computer vision, and NLP
• Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning, generative models, or autonomous systems
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and experience with large-scale distributed training
• Proven ability to translate research concepts into production-ready solutions
