Principal Solutions Architect - Banking

We are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to design next-generation banking technology platforms including core banking modernization, digital banking channels, and API ecosystems. You will define technical strategy for critical banking systems and drive digital transformation initiatives.

• Architect enterprise-scale banking solutions for core banking, payments, lending, and digital channels
• Define technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead evaluation and implementation of modern banking platforms, cloud services, and API ecosystems
• Design integration architectures connecting legacy systems with modern microservices platforms
• Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards across all banking applications
• Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance for complex banking projects

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in solution architecture roles in banking domain
• Deep expertise in banking systems including core banking, payments, cards, and digital banking platforms
• Strong knowledge of banking APIs, open banking standards, and financial messaging protocols (ISO20022, SWIFT)
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, ESB, API gateways, and microservices architectures
• Understanding of banking regulations, PCI-DSS compliance, and security frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior business and IT leadership
• BTech/MTech in Computer Science; certifications like TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred
