Engineering Manager - Mobile Platform

As an Engineering Manager for Mobile Platform, you will lead a team of 10-12 mobile engineers building features for Zomato's iOS and Android applications. You will be responsible for technical strategy, team growth, and delivery of high-quality mobile experiences. This role requires a balance of technical depth, people management skills, and product thinking.

• Lead and mentor a team of iOS and Android engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation
• Drive technical roadmap for mobile platform including architecture decisions, technology adoption, and best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences
• Establish agile development processes, sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of features
• Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and hiring for team expansion
• Monitor app performance metrics, crash rates, and user feedback to continuously improve quality

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in mobile development (iOS/Android)
• 2+ years of engineering management experience leading mobile or product engineering teams
• Strong technical expertise in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java with understanding of mobile architecture patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, app store deployment, and mobile DevOps practices
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from premier institutions
