Lead Data Scientist - AI/ML

We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to drive AI/ML initiatives across fraud detection, risk assessment, and personalization. You will lead a team of data scientists and work on problems that directly impact financial security and customer experience for millions of businesses.

• Lead the design and deployment of machine learning models for fraud detection, risk scoring, and payment optimization
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers
• Develop advanced predictive models using deep learning, NLP, and ensemble methods
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate ML solutions into production systems
• Establish best practices for model monitoring, A/B testing, and continuous model improvement
• Drive research initiatives and stay updated with latest developments in AI/ML for fintech applications

• 8+ years of experience in data science with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in Python, R, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments at scale
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
• Experience in fintech, payments, or fraud detection domains is highly preferred
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
