Principal Software Architect

We are seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-scale applications for our global banking clients. This role involves setting technical direction, mentoring engineering teams, and driving architectural excellence across multiple product lines.

• Define and drive the technical architecture strategy for large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users
• Lead architectural reviews, design discussions, and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards
• Mentor and guide senior engineers, tech leads, and architects across multiple development teams
• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools for next-generation product development
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and C-level executives on technology roadmaps
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for software development lifecycle

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years in architecture roles
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and scalable system design
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering enterprise-grade applications for Fortune 500 clients
• Excellent understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
