Senior Risk Manager - Credit Risk

We are seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead credit risk assessment, portfolio management, and risk mitigation strategies for our retail lending business. You'll be responsible for developing risk models, setting credit policies, and ensuring portfolio quality across personal loans and credit cards.

• Develop and implement credit risk assessment frameworks and scorecards for retail lending products
• Monitor portfolio performance, analyze delinquency trends, and recommend risk mitigation strategies
• Design and validate credit risk models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
• Establish credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and approval matrices aligned with risk appetite
• Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and prepare risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
• Collaborate with business teams to balance growth objectives with risk management principles

• 8+ years of experience in credit risk management within banking or financial services sector
• Strong expertise in credit risk modeling, portfolio analytics, and Basel III/RBI regulatory frameworks
• Advanced proficiency in statistical tools (SAS, R, Python) and risk management software
• Deep understanding of retail credit products including personal loans, credit cards, and mortgages
• Experience with loss forecasting, vintage analysis, and credit portfolio optimization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field; FRM/CFA certification is a plus
