Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to build scalable, high-performance systems that handle millions of payment transactions. You will work on critical infrastructure that powers India's digital economy.

• Design and develop robust backend services using Java, Python, or Go to handle high-volume payment processing
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture ensuring 99.99% uptime
• Optimize database queries and design efficient data models for PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Implement security best practices and ensure PCI-DSS compliance across all systems
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality standards

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with strong expertise in Java, Python, or Go
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and scalability patterns
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle high-pressure production environments
• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or high-transaction systems is a strong plus
